Dr. Emily Lowry is a recent graduate of the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine and is thrilled to begin her career in small animal medicine with the AVC team.
Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Lowry is excited to serve a new community and bring her compassionate, personalized approach to veterinary care.
Her love for animals began at a young age and was further nurtured through hands-on experience at her local veterinary clinic. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Penn State University, where she also worked as a veterinary technician, solidifying her passion for the field. While in veterinary school, Dr. Lowry developed particular interests in small animal dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine.
Dr. Lowry looks forward to building strong relationships with her clients and their pets and is eager to grow both personally and professionally in her new home.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, spending time at the beach, and connecting with family and friends.
